Let's Come Together to Support Ordinary Girls Becoming Phenomenal Leaders, Entrepreneurs & Trailblazers!
On Thursday, May 19th at 6:30 pm, a few Cinnamongirls, CEOs and community leaders will come together to raise funds to further the dreams and mission of Cinnamongirl. Serving over 100 bold and talented girls of color, Cinnamongirl is the only program of its kind. We inspire girls to become innovative thinkers and fearless, compassionate leaders by providing a broad array of unique experiences in tandem with mentorships and peer relationships. Join us for breathtaking sunset views of downtown Oakland and the Bay; savor small bites prepared by Red Door Catering. Sip a little bubbly while enjoying engaging conversation with some of our remarkable Cinnamongirls. For your safety, we'll have onsite rapid Covid testing for all of our guests, as well as a heated outdoor space— this event will be perfect for unwinding from a busy day.
A donation to Cinnamongirl is an investment in equity, justice, and innovation. Thank you for giving generously to change the life of a promising young girl of color. She will contribute to a brighter future for us all.
We seek to raise a minimum of $75,000. These funds will support:
- Our growth and long term stability
- A top-notch education from successful women for hundreds of girls
- Hands-on activities and experiences to challenge and engage our girls
- Stipends to help our girls launch their ideas and prototypes for their capstone projects
- Recruitment costs to identify dedicated volunteers and entrepreneurs to teach, coach, and inspire our Cinnamongirls
