Celebrate Our Amazing Cinnamongirls

This is our first-ever pinning ceremony—a rite of passage for our Cinnamongirls. We know that what they are doing is not easy, and we want to encourage them to continue to work hard, step out of their comfort zones, and maintain their momentum toward achieving their goals.

This event is also a way for you to learn about our work, since many of our most committed volunteers don't know all that we offer girls. And lastly, it's a fundraiser so that we can continue to give our girls the very best resources and opportunities: critically acclaimed authors, successful entrepreneurs, and world-travelers to teach the 50+ master classes we offer across our cohorts; a professionally edited and published anthology of our girls' short stories and poetry; and amazing coaches and mentors to inspire our girls and keep them on track to achieve their goals. It’s not easy to keep our standards as high as we do, but we firmly believe that excellence breeds excellence, and the girls and their futures are worth the effort.

We hope you will come to support our dedicated Cinnamongirls and learn more about our work. Believe it or not, most of our funding comes from you, our community: Cinnamongirl families, friends, and individual donors who give multiple times a year. We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and your commitment to giving girls of color that extra boost that will help them change the world!
