Give a Cinnamongirl a chance to travel to Japan for an experience of a lifetime.
Donating to this trip would forever expand my mind to the possibilities of this world; to a new culture that I want to know more about. Please donate so this experience could be a part of me forever.
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!

Greetings friends and family,
I have exciting news regarding that I have been given an opportunity to explore a part of the world completely outside of my understanding of life! This part of the world is Japan! Never have I ever thought my first destination out of my home country would be a country so drastic from my normal life but I am up for the challenge!
Traveling to Japan is very exciting news for me but I have begun to think about how I’m going to pay for such a trip that comes at a hefty price. With my determination and your generous support, I’m certain that we can accomplish the goal of $6,000! But I would like to catch you up on my life that has gotten me up to this point!
As many of you know, my name is Carly Monroe. I’m fourteen years old and I just got promoted from eighth grade in spring of 2021 making me a Freshman in high school today. I attend Lincoln High School in Stockton, California. I’m currently taking a French class and a Musical Theater class and both interest me greatly. I love acting, music, art, food, and filmmaking! I guess you could say I have a creative mind set! When I’m older, I hope to either create my own business or get into the performing arts.
I see this trip teaching me many valuable lessons or helping me understand a concept that I never really thought about before. My family is always telling me stories about their travel adventures but now I want to be able to share mine with the next generation!
Thanks to those who are supporting me thick and thin! I love y’all!
