Dear Friends and family, It's Nyema, and I have a great opportunity. I've been chosen to travel to Japan. I get the chance to travel, but I also get to travel with girls who look like me!
I get to build relationships with my fellow Cinnamongirls, and hopefully, we can help each other in the future. In the summer of 2022, Cinnamongirl, a leadership development organization, has planned a trip for girls of color to travel to Japan. I have been fortunate enough to travel to different places around the state, however, Japan is a place I would love to visit.
Japan has a different language and way of living, and I would truly enjoy learning it. Seeing how other people in different countries live and speak is astonishing. Not only will I have the opportunity of seeing it, I can live it for 9 days! But this can only happen if you help us.
I hope that you help support me to see this astonishing country and get to experience something I have never experienced before. Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Cinnamongirl. Thank you for your support and I cant wait to tell you everything I learned.
