I'm excited to share that I've been given the opportunity to join a group of intelligent, young Black women on a trip to Peru. This journey will allow us to experience the country's beauty through sites like Machu Picchu and the Rainbow Mountains. We'll also engage in interesting activities such as donkey rides and visits to native tribes, where we can learn about their unique traditions and admire carefully crafted textiles.
Through this trip, I hope to gain a better understanding of myself and the world by exploring the differences and similarities between my peers and the people of Peru. I'm eager to hear their stories and make new friends.
